I like WoWs style, but I like GW's stylised realism too.
I just hope whatever they pick, its scalable, so people with low end systems can enjoy the game. I'm sure my system can run it on high settings whenever its released.

Forcing out a huge game mechanic would not be a good idea for the games sake unless thousands upon thousands of people complain about it. Otherwise...Once you play a game with a z-axis theres no going back, trust me its really in the better interest of the game's success. Plus, It will attract players from other games (like WoW) I asked my friend if he ever tried GW, he said he thought it would be horrible because there was no jumping, enough proof right there about how I'm guessing half of WoW sees GW.
But hey then again, Guildwars was such a unique MMO compared to others, we just need to see what Anet comes out with. We haven't gotten one screenshot, yet and concept art dosent count because that looks just like gw1's art.

Funny, I absolutely love the idea. It's the one feature that is keeping me interested, really. GW is boring in terms of controls.
I hope it looks at least on par with Aion. That game is just simply beautiful.

In my experience, the Z-axis for flying/jumping/whathaveyou is only useful for travel. It's hard to reconcile the need for any of it with GW1 b/c of instant and FREE map travel.
Let me just say that running/jumping/flying to get places in other games gets old FAST. More and more I think about it, what made GW1 a good game seems like it's being contradicted in every aspect of GW2. Yeah, GW is boring in terms of controls but thats there for balance and because the game really doesn't require any kind of specialized control, just personal growth in the use of skills/builds.
It could be a great feature if the Z-Axis serves as an enjoyable but not necessary role in every aspect of the game. And I don't mean quests that make you "jump" to your destination.

I'd like it to look like War Craft 2: Battle.Net edition. I think it'd be great like that. Instead of skills, you'd control a party of people that do different things and interact with each other (like skills) and it'd have ONLINE MODE. How fantastic would THAT be? Online! Imagine Guild Wars, online! Wow, technology never ceases to amaze me.

Nah, I find the current Guild Wars graphics very pleasing already so just keep it the same. Maybe a bit more detailed but you can tinker with it using the graphics settings so that older pcs can run it smoothly too.

hmm..the only game i think of that maybe can borrow Guild Wars's graphics is 'Blade of Darkness".....Bah who am i kidding Blade of Darkness is much better game play wise....i mean show me a game in 200 or so in which you can cut of every limb, arm, wrist, ancle, head, shoulder, half of a body off with blood spewing out of all the things i just mentioned 0_0
If anythign maybe guild wars can borrow that from Blade of Darkness....those of you who never saw the game..check it out..its ablast from the past with graphics way above 2000 year mark

I want the like game to look like that game I used to like play like years ago when I was like young and it like had all kinds of letters that made like words and stuff and you had to like type in an answer that was like the coolest. It was like on a screen that was all like green an stuff with this little thing that like blinked and you had to put this like square looking thing in a slot and it like made all kinds of noise when it was like loading. I think it was called something like a text game. That is what I want GW2 to look like.
kick charr in head
pull charr's tail
jump on charr
use sword on charr
shove sword up charr's ......
